Our Story

Welcome to NoRA Cupcake Company! Definitely NOT your mother’s cupcake company and even more an anti-bakery selling gourmet cupcakes at their home base bakery and retail store located at 700 Main Street in Middletown, CT across the street from parent company Eli Cannon’s Tap Room and next door to Middletown landmark O’Rourke’s Diner.  In addition, now selling cupcakes at a possible location near you via our new Cupcake Truck – lil NoRA!  Check us out on Facebook and Twitter for lil NoRA’s vending location of the day or call the store in the morning for her daily itinerary. We are a “new generation” bakery focused on artistic cupcakes with emphasis on non-traditional recipes.  Many of the cupcakes are decorated elaborately and stuffed with unique and unusual fillings.  We also co-op the space with Eli Cannon’s Trading Company – the unconfirmed child of Eli Cannon’s Tap Room (we are still waiting for the DNA test results).  This houses an expanded Eli Cannon’s clothing line, Eli Cannon’s private label hot sauces as well as an extensive array of other gourmet condiments.  Eli Cannon’s will also co-op their space with local community artists featuring and selling their pieces.
